Boltzmann Modeling

Lattice Boltzmann Method

The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is a kinetics-based method that has been found to evaluate multi-component, multi-phase systems in various applications. One particularly beneficial use of LBM has been in the simulation of multiphase flow in porous media. As numerous engineering applications employ porous geometries, the application of the LBM simulation strategy introduces potential for new insights for simulating complex systems.
